A boldly featured French Baroque antique chimneypiece in white, blue and purple veined Pavonazza marble. The angled scrolled jambs support a multi- moulded shelf over a panelled frieze centred by a large central scrolled cartouche in the manner of a heraldic Italian 'stemma nobiliare'. French, mid 19th century.
