A compact Louis XVI carrara marble fireplace with beautiful carved details. The moulded breakfront shelf rests on a panelled frieze which is centred by an acanthus rosette and flanked by acanthus paterae endblocks. These in turn rest on beautifully carved acanthus console jambs.
