An early Regency twin pedestal sideboard in flame mahogany with a bowed tablet frieze which is flanked by two dovetailed drawers and a lower cupboard to the left, and a single dovetailed drawer mounted with a wine holder and lower cupboard to the right. The central frieze is fitted with two long drawers, the upper mounted with a central bullseye very much in the Regency manner. All drawers are mounted with brass ringed lion mask pulls. The drawers and cupboard fronts are solid mahogany, the rest of the carcass being constructed from oak. This sideboard is very much in the manner of John Soane. English or Scottish, c.1800.
