A small Neoclassical style cast iron and brass Victorian fire basket the tall, possibly later associated, fire back with a depiction of 'The Fox and The Stork' from Aesop's Fables, the low three barred grate, surmounted by a pair of brass capped finials flanked by brass shoulders above a decoratively cut serpentine apron, is supported by tapered column standards topped by further capped finials. English, late 19th century.
