A fine French Rococo antique fireplace surround in opulent Arabascato Marble a dramatic Italian marble with distinctive dark grey veins against a predominantly white background. The moulded shelf above a panelled frieze centred by an elaborate scrolled cartouche echoed on the endblocks which are set above angled scrolled jambs.
French, mid 19th century.
