A strong and sturdy large Belgian Black Marble antique chimneypiece in the manner of Louis XVI, the panelled frieze centred with a diamond lozenge, the endblocks with framed bosses above large acanthus decorated jambs supported on sympathetically large lion paw feet and moulded footblocks.
French 19th century.
