A LOUIS XV CHIMNEYPIECE IN BLACK, WHITE AND IVORY VEINED AND FIGURED MARBLE. Quite sophisticated and understated in the Rococo manner. The serpentine shelf over the frieze is centred by a well formed central shell cartouche, supported on angled, panelled jambs. French 18th century.
