A simple and elegant St Anne marble corbel fireplace. The softly grey hued St Anne marble is gently veined and displayed to great effect on the plain shelf and jambs. The undulating corbels support a broad moulded shelf. Its' simplicity is enhanced by small bands of Belgian black marble above the corbels and footblocks, an unusual detail. English, c.1870.
