An impressive large Victorian fireplace mantel in solid Burr Elm wood. The substantial shelf delicately carved with linked Ivy supported on twin lions masks flanking the Gothic arched Clerestory running frieze motif, over twin columned jambs, all in solid Burr Elm wood, on either side with carved oak leaf capitals top, matched at the bottom. English, mid 19th century.
