A wide French, Louis XV Rococo style antique fireplace mantel in white Carrara Marble with a finely shaped and moulded shelf. The serpentine panelled frieze is centred by a large integral foliate cartouche flanked by acanthus scrolled angled jambs resting on curved footblocks. French, late 19th century.
