A stunning Louis XV Rococo fireplace carved from Carrara marble. The deeply moulded serpentine shelf is set above a magnificent panelled frieze, its centre beautifully carved with flowers and foliate scrolls emanating from the central scallop shell. From the C scroll shell endblocks tumble a similar array of flowers over the panelled console jambs.
