A tall oak and Belgian Blue Stone antique chimneypiece in the Renaissance manner. The panelled fluted frieze with central acanthus detail is flanked by pairs of lion mask end blocks and set beneath a generous moulded egg and dart corniced shelf. The whole is supported by deep carved and polished Belgian Blue Stone fluted corbels above tall Ionic columns over moulded and panelled foot blocks. Belgian, mid 19th century.
