A SUPERB AND RARE IRISH GEORGIAN SCAGLIOLA INLAID CHIMNEYPIECE in the manner of Pietro Bossi , the Italian Stuccadore resident in Dublin 1786-1800. Excellent quality and delightful inlay work with well arranged decoration depicting bellflower garlands, either side of a polychrome fountain / urn on the center tablet flanked by Etruscan/ Pompeiian style urns over similar style polychrome Arabesques descending the jambs. Believed to be the work of Henry Emery in Dublin. Irish, late19th century.
