The breakfront shelf with egg & dart undershelf over richly veined Sienna marble frieze panels, centred by a large tablet delicately carved with abundant floral decoration, flanked by likewise high relief exquisitely carved floral Paterae endblockings.The underfrieze Lambs Tongue carved detail supported on scrolled Ionic capitals, over tapering boldly reeded pilasters, with egg & dart carving around the opening. With restorations. Scottish, circa 1780.
