An early Georgian style white statuary marble fire surround with a verde antico Marble frieze and breccia verde seravezza slips and jambs. The frieze, beneath a moulded shelf, is mounted with a central plaque of stylised urn, bellflowers and scrolling acanthus leaves and is supported by a pair of large and finely carved caryatids fronting the jambs. English, early 20th century with mid 19th century elements.
