A tall mahogany chimneypiece in the Renaissance Revival manner. The richly carved deep frieze, featuring fruit filled cornucopia, is centred by a pair of mythical birds and a gadrooned urn with stylised mythical serpents either side. Tall reeded tapering columns topped by Corinthian capitals front the jambs. English, circa 1890.
