A tall twin columned antique walnut Trumeau fireplace surround with Gothic Revival detail throughout. The simple overmantel with a high stepped pediment rests above the double frieze, the upper of carved arches flanked by linefold endblocks, and the lower with a row of demi-lune quatrefoils. The plain jambs are fronted by twin pairs of slim columns, with carved capitals, resting on sturdy footblocks. French, mid 19th century.
