A Victorian, Neoclassical style cast iron fire surround with ornate enriched bands and edgings beneath the wide shelf and around the opening. The linked palmette frieze is centred by an urn and scrolling acanthus panel flanked by trophy roundels on the endblocks above foliate pilaster panels on the jambs. English, circa 1870.
