Stock No: 16358
A striking Louis XV chimneypiece in a very softly mottled carrara marble. The serpentine shelf sits above a panelled frieze which is centred by a foliate cartouche in the Rococo manner, with similarly naturalistic endblocks over canted, scrolled and panelled jambs. It has original brass air vents to the side, which is a lovely feature.
French, late 19th century.
