An unusual Victorian fireplace very much in the French taste, but manufactured in England. The moulded serpentine shelf sits above a panelled frieze inset with verde antico marble and centred by a foliate cartouche. This is flanked by foliate endblocks, over verde antico angled and panelled jambs.
