A very fine Louis XVI marble chimneypiece, possibly made for the English market in beautifully matched dove grey bardiglio fiorito. The marble has exceptional veining which is book matched on the jambs. The moulded shelf sits above a frieze carved with crisp volutes which are echoed in the jambs.
