A small Louis XVI style antique fireplace surround in softly figured Breche Violette Marble.The shaped and moulded shelf sits above a split panelled frieze centred by a carved rosette.The endblocks, enhanced with a pair of square floral paterae, rest above angled, stop fluted jambs supported on curved footblocks. French, circa 1880.
