A Louis XV Sienna Marble Rococo style fire surround. The serpentine shaped breakfront shelf, with podium to either end, rests above a split panelled frieze centred by a rocaille cartouche. The scrolled foliate endblocks sit above angled volute jambs with carved acanthus leaf to the bottom above shaped footblocks. French, mid 19th century.
