A 19th century polished Belgian Black and Verde Antico marble Flemish fireplace surround in the High Renaissance style. The moulded shelf rests above a panelled frieze with a verde antico central lozenge and cushioned marble panels flanked by square bossed endblocks above tapering, full round free standing verde antico marble columns resting on sturdy footblocks.
