A French, Louis XVI antique fireplace mantel in white Statuary Marble together with its original decorative cast iron insert. The frieze, decorated with a carved rippling ribbon entwined with laurel leaves, is flanked by large acanthus endblocks above delicately carved stopped fluted jambs. French late 19th century.
