A French Louis XVI style antique fireplace in elegantly veined Arabescato marble. The simple moulded shelf is set above the fluted and ormolu mounted frieze and flanked by acanthus leaf, square gilt paterae end blocks, supported on stop fluted, pilaster jambs with further ormolu decoration.
