A well carved English Regency antique fireplace mantel in the Greek Revival manner. Boldly carved in white Statuary marble with a plain moulded shelf over the panelled frieze which has carved honeysuckle design at each end, flanked by generously scrolled brackets with complementary carved floral detail over the panelled jambs with matching carved detail. English, early 19th century.
