A cast iron early Victorian antique Carron Register Grate, with an integral fire basket, enhanced throughout with floral foliate detail. The name Carron is on the left footblock and the number 167 can be seen on the right footblock. Made at the Carron Foundry in Falkirk Scotland and dated 1842.
