An attractive gilt brass and cut mesh Louis XVI style firescreen The golden steel panel centred with a decorative quiver, bagpipes and drum resting on a ribboned floral and foliate bed surmounted with a foliate wreath handle. The frame embellished with ribbons, swags, medallions and wreaths supported either side by a pair of entwined flambeau topped columns the whole raised on two pairs of scrolled leaf and hoof feet.
French early to mid 20th century.
