A substantial antique cast iron Regency style fire basket with a highly ornate scrolling
backplate depicting an Hellenistic battle scene possibly one of Alexander
The Great's campaign battles. The two barred basket with log spikes is
supported on acanthus adorned scrolling feet.
English, early 19th century with restorations.
