A pair of large hand-painted Delft vases in blue and white. Painted very much in the Chinese style, these baluster shaped vases are decorated with Chinese style scenes, reminiscent of the British Willow Pattern that emerged in the 18th century, with bridges, pagodas, willow trees and birds painted within vignettes. These are framed by more typically Delft patterns. The covers are topped with seated panthers.
