A very large Arts and Crafts marquetry panel depicting a typical 1930s English village scene picked out in inlaid woods including Thuya (Burr) Walnut, Burr Elm, Burr Walnut, Mahogany, Sycamore, Ash, Birch, Rosewood, Kinewood and Elm. Panels like this were often created by craftsmen or carpenters to illustrate to their clients the range of woods available for the piece they were commissioning.
