A tall, cylindrical column plinth, in Scagliola simulating grey figured Connemara Marble, raised on a turned wood cushion base. Somewhat distressed, photos before restoration. English, circa 1930.
Notes Scagliola is an imitation marble or stone and is made from a mix of of plaster, glue and dyes which is then painted or polished.
