A French carved oak antique mantelpiece in the Renaissance manner. The moulded rectangular shelf above a carved frieze with corbels and acorns. The jambs with half round fluted Corinthian columns decorated at the base with foliate carving and resting on plinth foot blocks centred by lion mask paterae to the front and small Romayne panels to the sides.
